VISA APPLICATION AND BOOKING FLIGHT

The visa interview is the final step to getting into the college. After convincing the admission officers, you also have to convince the visa officer about your intention to study in your host country.  Be prepared to give clear and convincing answers to interview questions. Once your visa has been approved, it is now the time to book your flight if you haven’t done it yet. Like applying for the college for the first time can cause some stress, it is also the same case when you fly abroad for the first time. Do research about flight costs, their itineraries, things to take with or not and so on. Finally, remember that the earlier you book your flight, the better price you get.

If you are going to a college in another country, try to check if there are people from your origin country who might guide you when you arrive at the college. If none, try to be in touch with the international students’ officers. They will help you to feel at home.

College studies are competitive and require being an independent student. Remember to check the college policies and do your best to abide with them.  Once you are on the ground, besides studying to check if there are some part time jobs available and this can help you earn a little more to support yourself but it can also be good news to help your families financially.
